Canadian forests are being ravaged by the voracious mountain pine beetle.


For years the tiny beetle and Canada's giant forestry industry have co-existed in a balanced eco-system but exceptionally warm winters in recent years have led to a massive non-stop infestation that is killing off mature and young trees.
