Elephant pregnant from frozen sperm

26 year old elephant Phang Sao is expecting her second calf.

 

The animal has been artificially inseminated with frozen sperm by vets at this conservation centre in northern Thailand.

 

Vets already have plans to include the new born in another insemination project.
