The bank has chosen “Wincor Nixdorf” cash dispensers “ProCash 2000” and “ProCash 2050”. This bank, having got a credit from the World Bank, will purchase “Wincor Nixdorf” cash dispensers. “Sia Penki kontinentai Riga” and the company “Tietokons” (both are allocated in Riga) continue successful cooperation with the Latvian savings bank Latvijas Kraibank. This year the bank will be delivered the batch of “ProCash 2050” cash dispensers. After this batch is delivered number of “Wincor Nixdorf” cash dispensers this bank possesses will exceed 70. Up-to-date “Windows NT” software is installed in all bank’s cash dispensers. In this system other additional functions that would be useful both for the client and the bank can be installed. In August JSC “Penki kontinentai” during the TV program “New communications” has presented new self-service means – application of videoconferences in cash-dispensers. Bank’s client having come to withdraw money may contact bank operator and cooperate with her in online regime. He would see her at the cash dispenser’s screen. Bank operator is in any of the bank’s filial, she sees and hears the client and can answer the client’s questions. Due to such an equipment the client may ask the bank operator for information at any time; this may be any information, for instance, to get known what the interest rates are, what the tariffs for the services are, etc. Such system is very convenient both for the client and the bank (few operators is able to service all the cash dispensers that are in Lithuania). Furthermore, the residents of the smaller towns could have possibility to contact specialist staff of the banks.
