Lithuanian Kalnapilis beer has won two gold medals in the World beer Cup 2004, where 400 beer breweries from 40 countries of the world competed with 1,500 types of beer.
The “golden” types of Lithuanian beer were Kalnapilis Original (category Munchner-Style Helles) and Kalnapilis 7.30 (German-Style Heller Bock/Maibock).
“Gold medals are a good stimulus for us to develop new beer taste and quality standars in Lithuania”, said Remigijus Sydeikis, Production Director of the Kalnapilis-Tauras Group.
