The highways of European significance

Lithuania is #2 among EU accession states by the density of the road network, according to Eurostat. The density of Lithuanian roads is 6.4 kilometres per 1,000 sq. kilometres. 6 Lithuanian highways have received Category E and have been ranked as highways of European significance by the EC Committee on International Transport.
