ATMIA Conference in London

ATMIA (ATM Industry Association) held a very successful “Optimising ATMs 03” Conference in London on 14-15 April. ATMIA’s activity has covered almost all countries all over the world. Among ATMIA members there are manufacturers and distributors of bank equipment, financial institutions, private persons. The Lithuanian company “Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos” (BS/2) joined ATMIA board of directors in June 2001. So it is not the first time when BS/2 representatives took part in exhibitions arranged by the association. During this year Conference, the project of ATMIA Eastern Europe region web site development was discussed. The site development is relied on “Penki kontinentai” group of enterprises comprises BS/2, “Lietaus dizainas”, “Skaineta” and others. During ATMIA Conference the Lithuanian company presented its own software solutions. One of them was the video security system for self-service terminals and conflict resolution so-called “ATMeye”. Currently the system has been successfully used in more than 30 countries all over the world viz. in countries of Central and Eastern Europe, UAE, India, etc. In 2002 ATMIA awarded the ATMeye system as the best in the ATM Security Technology category. BS/2 is the exclusive Wincor Nixdorf products supplier to Lithuania and 12 countries of Eastern Europe. This site will be, let say, the window to the East Europe market of bank equipment. Articles in English and Russian languages devoted to hot news and events from 25 countries of the Eastern Europe will be presented on this site. Poland and Ukraine, Hungary and Bulgaria – a comprehensive data about these countries bank equipment you can find at www.atmiaee.com. The site will be created on the basis of “I-manager”, Online Content Management System, which allows to create and update both the content and structure of a website any time from any place where access to Internet is available. Currently around 100 sites have already been created on the basis of this technology.
