ATMIA (Asynchronous Transfer Mode Industry Association) organized the conference, the sponsor of which is the company “Penkiø kontinentø bankinës technologijos“ (“Penki Kontinentai Banking Technologies”) BS/2 – a member of the directorate of ATMIA from June. JSC “Penkiø kontinentø bankinës technologijos“ (“Penki Kontinentai Banking Technologies”) BS/2 is a secondary company of the “Penki kontinentai”, which was established in 2001 after the department of banking technologies was expanded. A successful six years experience stimulated the establishment of a separate modern and dynamic company, which will work well in Lithuania and at the foreign markets. The total benefit for last year of the company group is 80,2 millions litas (without value added tax – VAT). The company exports its products and services to 34 countries worldwide, takes part in the popular IT exhibitions, one of them is the prestigious IT exhibition “CeBIT“. Also in this session we will present an update on ATM Security Technology, and end to end cash protection using 'Note degradation Systems'. ATM Trends We will also cover ATM Trends based upon market analysis in Western, Easern and Central Europe, by the Retail Banking Research Group. Other European trends will be addressed covering the success of "Independent" deployers in USA and UK, the experience and use of "Cash Recycling", and the new horizons for ATMs using XFS technology.
