ATMs in Malaysia

Published: 15 May 2001 y., Tuesday
Wincor Nixdorf Malaysia has concluded a fantastic deal with the Rakyat Bank. The bank has replaced all 77 of its NCR ATMs with Wincor Nixdorf ATMs. The primary reasons for Rakyat Bank's contract decision included, first and foremost, our new product range ProCash 2xxx with its new LCD screens, hybrid card readers and attractive design. And of course, much credit is due to our team in Malaysia, which accomplished an extremely convincing task. Another important aspect of this deal is that it represents our first ProView application in Malaysia. This contract was a particularly difficult one for Wincor Nixdorf to conclude, since Bank Pertanian, just like Rakyat Bank, is a government bank and requires the agreement of the ministry of finance on every contract. The process of solving all the problems with the ministry of finance was lengthy, since Wincor Nixdorf is not a registered supplier to the ministry. That being the case, it is even more gratifying that after receiving a contract for 45 ProCash2050s in September 2000, an additional 25 machines were ordered. About the banking technologies>
