An Attractive Solution from Penki Kontinentai is Offered in the iTunes Stores

Published: 29 April 2011 y., Friday

Application software Penki TV Remote Access developed by the Company Penki Kontinentai now available in the Apple iTunes stores. It is an easy-to-install and easy-to-use solution designed to remote control a set-top-box using wireless Internet connection (Wi Fi) via a smartphone or Tablet PC.

The application software developed by Penki Kontinentai has all the normal functions of a TV remote control and even more. A customer can choose from three keyboard types (including QWERTY keyboard, which is especially convenient for entering any text). When connected remotely, for example, via a smartphone, it will be available for use both as a TV control, and as a telephone; remote control application software will remain active until the set-top-box will be restarted.

Another advantage of this solution is a guarantee of user security. Connecting to remote control application software is done by entering an activation code, which appears on the TV screen, and thus ensuring that no unauthorized person is able to connect to the TV. Each user can find his IP address in the settings section of the set-top-box.

UAB Penki Kontinentai is one of the oldest and largest IT companies in Lithuania. The company was founded in 1992 and has many years of experience in the intellectual IT software development field. The company is actively representing the Lithuanian information technology business in the local and international exhibitions, forums and workshops, where it presents its innovative products.
