Ashburn International: 240 Million Transactions for 12 Billion LTL

Ashburn International, the company introducing payment and loyalty card solutions, continues to successfully expand its activities, and implements new projects. The company, which was founded in 1998 and belongs to Penki kontinentai group of companies, has been established in the market by developing the electronic trading system of prepayment for mobile connection.

“We were the first ones, who have offered the mobile connection users the possibility to replenish their accounts at supermarkets. Later, we launched projects on payment card authorization and loyalty programs. Last year we introduced the universal payment and loyalty program PayLo, and made investment of 3 million LTL in update of equipment of the retailers’ network in order to meet all SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) requirements”, said Rolandas Budriūnas, the CEO of Ashburn International.

Since its establishment, the Company has authorized over 240 million payment and loyalty card transactions, totalling 12 billion LTL. The collection of the receipts confirming the performed operations would reach an 18 thousand-kilometre tape, which is one third of the circumference of the earth.

Ashburn International is one of the first companies in Lithuania that meets the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) international security standards, which are applied to the companies processing payment card data, and means that the company’s organisational structure, its software, hardware, and architecture of the used networks ensures the maximum data security of payment card holders.

Ashburn International clients include  Omnitel, Bitė Lietuva, and Tele2 mobile operators; SEB, Snoras, Citadelė, DnB NORD banks; Iki, Šilas, Senukai, Žemaitijos prekyba, Topo centras supermarket networks; Statoil Lietuva, PKN Orlen gas stations; networks of Gintarinė vaistinė pharmacies, DELANO restaurants and many others. The company collaborates with global companies such as Cisco Systems, Bull, Microsoft, HP, Ingenico, etc.
