BS/2 will raise the employee qualification on finances of the EU Structural Funds

International enterprise BS/2 one of the largest providers of software products and services in the country is increasing its competence by raising the employee qualification and starts to implement two year project “HR development aiming to ensure the ability of employees to adjust to enterprise needs and changes in labor market in the sphere of advanced information technologies” financed by EU Structural Funds. (SFMIS number: VP1-1.1-SADM-01-K-01-158).

BS/2 is further investing in HR as the main treasure of the company always was employees. Specialized training should positively influence both enterprise development processes and employees and increased qualification will make them feel stronger in the activities of the enterprise as well as in the labor market..

BS/2 was investing in special banking software and technical spheres recently. Due to this fact the enterprise managed to establish first in the post soviet area and second in the world certified Training Center of German enterprise “Wincor Nixdorf” for technical engineers. Training will help to quicker assimilate special knowledge which will help to develop activities in the markets of former Soviet Union, and Central and Eastern Europe countries, where BS/2 has strong leader positions, even more successfully.

Knowledge and abilities acquired during the project will increase the qualification of the employees which will help to seek for higher quality of ordered banking services and will become the basis for development of self-service terminals, software and security solutions, ordered services and products as ATMeye.iQ, iQxml, and Cash Management.

M. Labašauskas, Project Manager says: The raise of competence of the employees of the enterprise, based on training programs prepared specially for management and technical staff of the enterprise will increase quality of BS/2 solutions and services and add value for the users (clients). Appliance and usage of world standardized methodologies and means in the enterprise after specialized training will help to effectively manage IT products and service creating, implementing and supply processes.

This project will be a small step into constant development in foreign markets for BS/2 the enterprise working in more than 60 countries of the world and having vast experience in the banking technology market. Knowledge acquired during the project will support in reaching well known international standards: ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CMMI (Capability Maturity Model) that will increase BS/2 service competitiveness in the market.
