The largest IT and telecommunication exhibition in the world CeBIT 2008 just has started in Hanover, Germany.

The newest IT solutions for private and public sectors as well as different household and mobile technology products are presented during this event, organised for the 22nd time. In a separate park, the visitors will are able to take a look at the technologies of the future and to find out about the initiatives of the IT industry in the environmental protection area.

This year as well as last year, the Penki Kontinentai Group, one of the largest IT companies in Lithuania, takes part in the exhibition CeBIT for the 10th time. It presents the innovative solutions for banking industry, payment solutions, solutions for IPTV and broadband internet, etc. 

The Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy (France is a guest of this year exhibition), the Chairman of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, the Chairman of the Board of Microsoft Steve Ballmer and other high-ranking politicians and prominent businessmen are visiting the CeBIT exhibition this year.
