“Golden” product of Lithuania in the exhibition

Lithuanian IT company Penki kontinentai, the golden partner of Wincor Nixdorf, will participate in the exhibition just like every year. The company will present its solutions at two stands designed for the banking and retail trade sectors.

In 2008, Penki kontinentai group represented by its subsidiary company BS/2 entered a partnership agreement with Wincor Nixdorf regarding long-term bilateral cooperation; under this agreement, Penki kontinentai represents Wincor Nixdorf in the installation of solutions designed not only for banking technologies but also for retail trade.

In this year’s exhibition, Penki kontinentai will present the ATMiQ  system, designed for optimization and management of business processes, the video surveillance system ATMeye, which is already installed in over 24,000 ATMs all over the world, the monitoring software ProView, which enables remote management and administration of the systems used by banks, and iQxml, a solution for self-service systems, which enables management of payment transactions carried out via self-service equipment, in the exhibition.

The system ATMiQ enables one to foresee and control cash flows as well as to analyze the condition of technical equipment. This is especially relevant at the moment because the majority of banks are facing the consequences of the worldwide financial crisis. “We are happy because ATMiQ was awarded gold medal in the contest Lithuanian Product of the Year organized in 2008,” says Žanas Ratomskis, the manager of the Information Technologies Department of BS/2.

The specialists of BS/2 will present their programming solutions designed for the technical equipment of Wincor Nixdorf in the exhibition.
