Published: 29 January 2013 y., Tuesday

In mid-January, a delegation of Gamma Center, a Russian company, visited BS/2 headquarters in Vilnius. The delegation included Sergey Kostromin, the chairman, Pyotr Demidovsky, the CEO, and Aleksey Fomichev, head of business development and vice chairman.

Gamma Center, BS/2's partner, has been present in the Russian and CIS markets for over 20 years. The company supplies specialized equipment for banks and offices. It is a leading player in the area of implementing projects that aim at bringing automated cash processing to financial institutions. It is worth noting that Gamma Center has a 90% share of the Russian teller cash recycler market.

During Gamma Center's Vilnius visit, the Russian company and BS/2 discussed the results of last year's cooperation and the work done. The companies also discussed one of the latest successful projects: as part of the project, BS/2 adapted its Payments.iQ solution for SID safes, thereby extending the functionality of the hardware. In addition, the Russian guests and the Lithuanian company's top management discussed issues related to further bilateral cooperation and to the introduction of BS/2's latest products into the Russian market.

For over 15 years, the BS/2 company, part of the Penki Kontinentai Group, has been successfully present in the market of banking technology and retail.  The company specializes in developing and supplying software designed for the optimization of the operation of ATMs and other self-service devices. BS/2 also provides outsourcing services to banks and other financial institutions. BS/2's products are well-known and are used in over 60 countries around the world.
