Hungarian partners took course at BS/2 competence center

Published: 26 February 2013 y., Tuesday

On February 20-22, the BS/2 company was visited by representatives of DBM, a Hungarian company that has been BS/2's partner since 2004. For many years now, these two companies have been working successfully in the area of ATM maintenance and have been selling hardware.

The two DBM employees attended ATMeye.iQ Training, a three-day training course dedicated to the quality of ATMeye.iQ maintenance and technical problem resolution. Having completed the course, the Hungarian guests were awarded certificates. During the visit, BS/2 and DBM also discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the banking technology market.

Says Péter Süle, DBM's software support manager: "Until recently, we have used an old version of ATMeye.iQ. In the new version, we have discovered many useful functions, such as remote access to ATMs' file systems or user rights management. What is extremely nice is that we can now configure various ATMeye.iQ settings remotely, without having to go to each ATM separately. For this reason, the user interface has become much more convenient."

According to the specialist, for ATMeye.iQ the Hungarian market looks especially promising. The banks that DBM works with have already showed interest in this solution. During the training course, DBM's representatives used their opportunity to also learn more about other BS/2 products, such as Brancheye.iQ, Cash Logistics.iQ, and Service Desk.iQ.

"These products could also be useful to us. We plan to present them to our company's top management first and to introduce them onto the Hungarian market later," Mr.Süle said.

BS/2, part of the Penki Kontinentai Group, has been operating successfully in the banking technology and retail sectors for over 15 years. BS/2's Training Center, which opened in 2009, is the only certified Wincor Nixdorf competence center in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The Training Center is the perfect place for technical specialists, from banks and service provider companies, to develop professionally by improving their professional skills even further.
