International conference in Kiev Cash Flows and Bank Cashing Operations

The second international conference Cash Flows and Bank Cashing Operations was held in Kiev on March 12-13, 2013. The conference brought together bank managers, specialists of till operations, cash flows, and money collection as well as developers of goods and services for the specialized cash flows sector, together with the representatives of national and governmental institutions of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine.

The conference was initiated by the Biznes Format company together with DIIP 2000 (Ukraine), Gamma Dnepr, DORS Ukraina, the scientific development company Elkom, Sensor Technolodži, the limited company Nominal inžiniring, I. B. S., and the scientific development company Spektras.

The first day was dedicated to the discussion of the latest news from the national banks. The banks shared their information on the current projects and discussed the aspects of security, the modernization of banking systems, and the optimization of various cash flow processes.

The second day was arranged for the conference sponsors, i.e. the providers of equipment and services who presented their newest production for the event participants. In the conference, the specialists had a chance to communicate in the informal environment as well as to see the collections of cash-registers owned by the event sponsors.

According to Pavel Drobinov, the Head of BS/2 Business Development Department, the conference has proved that the topics discussed are relevant and it has been an excellent opportunity to share experience related to the development of the newest trends and methods to increase efficiency. Next year BS/2 is planning to participate in the conference not only as a guest but also as a participant and to present its solutions for the modernization of bank branches, the automation of their activities, and the optimization of cash flow management processes.

The questionnaire filled out by the conference participants has showed that the conference was an important meeting point for experts of cash flows management sector from various countries and a space for sharing good practice and opinions.
