Leaders of the world-famous corporation Wincor Nixdorf will visit Lithuania

On January 9–10 our country will be visited by Eckard Heidloff, the president of Wincor Nixdorf – one of the largest global scale companies providing self-service transaction systems, retail banking equipment, software and services for global financial and commercial markets, retail and retail banking hardware, software, and services. Executive vice president of Wincor Nixdorf Stefan Auerbach and indirect sales manager  

Joerg Brinkmöller are visiting Lithuania as well.

The main purpose of their visit will be meeting with their business partner from Lithuania –“Penkių Kontinentų Bankinės Technologijos (BS/2)” company. “We are planning to discuss the prospects of future business development, market tendencies and the outcomes of the previous year operations”, Mindaugas Butkus, the deputy director of BS/2, says.

 

BS/2, a member of Penki Kontinentai company group since 1997, is the sole official distributor of Wincor Nixdorf self-service equipment and automated teller machines in Lithuania, and a strategic partner in twelve countries of Central and East Europe, and Asia. In total, BS/2 products and solutions are being implemented in 62 countries of the world.

 

In 2007 for the eighth time the Lithuanian company received special awards of Wincor Nixdorf. BS/2 was marked for the total sales volumes, special achievements in Kazakhstan, a conference on ATM safety in Vilnius, and the ATM security system ATMIQ developed by Lithuanian professionals.

 

Out of all ATMs currently operating in the Baltic countries, every second machine is a product of Wincor Nixdorf. This company is ranked as the second in Europe among the ATM producers, and the third in the world.

 

Products of the company founded in 1952 are currently marketed in 90 countries around the globe. As many as 8 300 specialists are employed in the representative offices of Wincor Nixdorf and its plants in Paderborn (Germany), Singapore, Shanghai and Sao Paulo.

 

In the financial year ending on September 2007 income of Wincor Nixdorf totalled 2.145 milliard euro (7.4 milliard litas), and profit - 109 milliard euro (376 milliard litas).
