Lithuanian company prepares specialists in banking technologies

EMV (EuroPay, MasterCard, Visa) – is a new general standard for the payment cards and all the banks are to migrate to this standard by the end of 2004. This standard will guarantee high protection of the payment cards. BS/2 is one of the exclusive partners of "Visa" in the implementation of EMV migration project. The knowledge given is supposed to help banking sector specialists from all over the world to create and apply the up-to-date banking solutions in the self service banking equipment used in those countries regarding the specific needs of the region. In September, BS/2 engineer Igor Shatrov will leave for Kazakhstan and Georgia to lecture the courses on the installation and maintenance of "Wincor Nixdorf" equipment. This year the International Bank of Azerbaijan has signed an agreement with BS/2 on an acquisition of 75 "Wincor Nixdorf" ATMs. Video monitoring system "ATMeye" developed by BS/2 is installed in the number of ATMs. Four years in a row BS/2 is acknowledged as the best "Wincor Nixdorf" equipment distributor in the countries of Eastern Europe. "Wincor Nixdorf" has accredited the representatives of BS/2 to prepare the banking equipment specialists. BS/2 offers the courses on installation and maintenance of banking equipment, on programming, as well as encryption courses for the payment cards‘ specialists.
