Published: 23 October 2003 y., Thursday
On October 22 the 10th annual international exhibition “Infobalt 2003” began. On the first day of the exhibition “Miss Lithuania 2002” Vaida Grikšaitė visited the stand of Penki kontinentai. Last year Vaida, the student of the Law University of Lithuania, won “Miss Klaipėda” competition. Thus, she was given the opportunity to strive for the title of “Miss Lithuania”. Nineteen years old Vaida (she will be 20 in several days) says the competition is a huge challenge she overcame. On the 6th of December Vaida is going to represent Lithuania at “Miss World” competition in China. “The scene have been attracting me since I was little, – admits Vaida, that’s why I kindly agreed to act in the Lithuanian TV serial “Prokurorai” (“Procurators”). V. Grikšaitė believes that Lithuania is worth of being known abroad, and that Lithuania could successfully be presented to the world by means of information technologies. Vaida Grikšaitė and Penki kontinentai, UAB are going to collaborate. Vaida will be offered to create the web site herself. Due to the web site content management system it is very easy to update the page, even if you know nothing about the web sites creation or programming. Furthermore, a CD with the information about Vaida and her photos will be created using „Mix Media Book“ technology and issued soon. At the stand of Penki kontinentai Group Vaida was presented e-kindergarten project. The General director of the company Idrak Dadashov showed Vaida plastic identification cards created for the pupils of “Gandriukas” kindergarten. The child’s photo, name, surname and identification code are printed at the card. As it is already known, the daughter company Skaineta, UAB implements information society creation project. The youngest society members, pupils of “Gandriukas” kindergarten, are also connected to “Skynet” network, thus they have also became network community members. Vaida Grikšaitė was also interested in the web site of children models’ agency “Mažasis modelis” (“A little model”). The web site was created by the specialists of Penki kontinentai. According to Vaida, this is a remarkable chance for the little models to present themselves. We invite you to visit Penki kontinentai stand Nr S. 1.14.
