Opening of the 10th international expo–conference CSTB 2008

Today, February 4, Crocus Expo Exhibitions’ Centre in Moscow opened its door to the 10th international expo and conference CSTB 2008. This is a key media event in Eastern Europe and CIS states introducing one of the most rapidly developing products – television.

Within a decade the exhibition has become an important event for the television and telecommunications market attracting worldwide known companies to participate, hold conferences or simply to look around and get to know the latest developments in the field. This anniversary year, there are more than 350 Russian and foreign companies to introduce their latest products and solutions.

Programming solutions designed for interactive IPTV will also be presented by “Penkių kontinentų” group of companies, the only participant of the expo from Lithuania. Among the programming services and products to be introduced – “Penki TV Box”, VACC (Video Audio Call Center), e-trade over IPTV, “Penki TV FTP”, “Penki TV RTSP”, “Penki TV TOD”, “Penki TV WEB“.

Already on the first day of the expo the company received a number of business proposals, whereas the visitors are most interested in “Penki TV RTSP” solution.

At the heart of attention of the expo are the most progressive TV formats and types: cable and satellite TV, IPTV, HDTV, mobile TV, TV content, broadband technologies, satellite connection. It is the third year that the CSTB expo will hold a unique TV channels’ event – World Content Show.

CSTB 2008 is not just an exhibition where the latest and most innovative products and solutions are introduced; it is the place to hold various events and projects reflecting the latest developments on the global TV and telecommunications market. The expo will also have an exposition of Mobile TV.

The conferences during the expo will discuss mainstream trends and TV market prospects. Russian experts and renowned foreign specialists will attend as guests. CSTB conferences have already gained international acknowledgement and secured leading positions on the telecommunications market. Day one of the conference will also hold a round table debate.

This year’s questions include installation and development of mobile TV, provision of broadband services, installation of new servers, content legalizing, telemarketing, IP television etc.
