Penki Kontinentai Revenue for the First Quarter of 2019 - 10.9 Million Euros

The revenue of the Penki Kontinentai Group, specializing in innovative information technology solutions, reached 10.9 million euros for the first quarter of 2019, which is 25 percent more than in the same period last year (8.7 million euros).

“We are expanding the range of services and our presence in countries of strategic importance, where new banking technologies are especially needed for the dynamic development of the financial sector. We hope that investments in innovations and efficient use of resources will provide a basis for our further stable growth. It is important for us to maintain a high rate of development according to the planned strategy,” says Idrakas Dadašovas, Chairperson of the Penki Kontinentai Board.

One of the main companies of the group, Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2), earned 5 million euros in the first quarter of 2019 (10 percent more than in the corresponding period of 2018). Among the BS/2 subsidiaries, companies in Kazakhstan and Georgia achieved the most significant results, which are more than 116 percent higher than last year (revenues 1.3 and 1.5 million euros, respectively).

Revenue growth trend is also noted in other companies of the group. ASHBURN International is actively entering the markets of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The company implements outsourcing projects and the TransLink.iQ solution for managing and monitoring the network of EFTPOS terminals and integrated cash register systems. The number of devices running on TransLink.iQ platform will exceed 300,000 by the end of the year.
