On September 5, 2000 the former Penki kontinentai, Ltd. employee Svajunas Porutis (1st year student) was caught copying and distributing software in the after-work hours. The same day he was fired and the tax inspection started investigation. On the 25th of september the newspaper Verslo Zinios annouced that the company may bear responsibility for the accident.
Mass media is treating the event differently.
