Smart solutions installed in the Visitor Center of the Salantai Regional Park

Published: 29 August 2014 y., Friday

An up-to-date visitor center is being constructed in the Salantai Regional Park that extends over the territory of Kretinga, Skuodas and Plungė districts. JSC “Penkių kontinentų komunikacijų centras” (PKKC) owned by a group of companies “Penki kontinentai” is one of the entities implementing the project.

Specialists of the Smart House Department of PKKC will equip the new visitor center with smart lighting, heating and ventilation systems as well as carry out all automation procedures. Smart heating system will maintain an adequate temperature in the center’s premises; presence sensors will adjust lighting, while ventilation system will automatically ventilate the exhibition halls. Moreover, these solutions will save energy and heating resources.

Persons implementing the project hope that all visitors of the innovative center will be able to take a closer look at exhibits of the regional park more conveniently.
