Solutions for enterprise debit and client loyalty cards

Published: 13 November 2003 y., Thursday
An enterprise „Ashburn International“ of “Penki kontinentai” consortium created a solution for enterprise debit and client loyalty cards, which allows retail shopping networks to implement payment system in their retail shopping sites or partner sites based on debit-denominative or gift cards issued by the networks themselves. This solution can be easily adapted to retail or service enterprises of various size, taking into account distinct needs of individual enterprises. Denominated cards can have debit or credit accounts. Moreover, several cards can be issued for one account – such cards are very convenient to use for members of a family. For the convenience of card users, each payment slip is supplemented with the information on the account balance of the card. Clients can add money to the account on their cards, by paying cash at the cashier or by a bank transaction. Gift cards – anonymous cards of various denominations, whose accounts have a sum of a predetermined size. Why implement enterprise debit cards: They allow gaining a better knowledge of a client: store a database of clients, communicate directly with clients, monitor sales and analyze the value (and structure) of a purchase basket according to chosen parameters. They allow easy and simple organization of sales promotion actions: actions together with suppliers, lotteries of various types, using cards instead of prizes in the lotteries. They provide financial savings: accumulation of advance payments into card accounts by clients, enterprise debit cards provide an alternative for debit cards issued by banks, also savings related to commission charged by banks, other savings. An excellent example of enterprise debit and client loyalty card implementation by “Ashburn International” is a project with IKI retail network, which provides to clients IKI PREMIJA debit cards and gift cards. “Ashburn International” also created identification cards to children attending “Gandriukas” kindergarten. These cards can be used for storing of various personal information about children and as discount cards for goods purchased in “Penki kontinentai” consortium enterprises.
