In the beginning of 2002 “Wincor-Nixdorf” together with its partner “Penkiu kontinentu bankines technologijos” (BS2) integrated new subpartner in Armenia – BeCam, LLC. Armenia is located in the southern Caucasus and it is the smallest of the former Soviet republics. With the population of more than 3.3 millions it occupies area of 29,800 square kilometers. Installation base of ATMs in the country – 26 units. In the middle of July 2002 “Penkiu kontinentu bankines technologijos” signed a contract with “Agricultural Cooperative Bank of Armenia” for delivery of 7 ProCash 2050 systems. ACBA bank is No4 in the country, with the installation base of 1 NCR ATM. Contract will bring first Wincor-Nixdorf ATMs to the Armenian market and this will increase Wincor-Nixdorf ATM market share from 0 to 27%, prolonging strong bases for further activities in the region.
