Success story in Kazakstan - TuranAlem bank

Wincor Nixdorf in tandem with BS/2 has signed a contract with TuranAlem bank to supply of more than 400 Wincor Nixdorf ATMs within Y2005 in total. This contract will be financed by Commerzbank AG and covered trough Euler-Hermes. Delivery of ATMs will be carried out by AlemCard Ltd a subsidiary of TuranAlem Bank. AlemCard will provide warranty and installation support for delivered ATMs as well as BS2 will support integration of the first Cash-in systems in the country. It is not that this is the biggest contract ever closed in Kazakhstan but also at the same time a debut for three Wincor Nixdorf products, ProCash 2350xe, ProCash 3100xe and ProCash 2100xe. 20% of total contracted quantity is for ProCash 3100xe machines. With deployment of such systems bank can provide cash-in and cash out services in national currency on one machine. Under the contract the first Drive-up Island ProCash 2350 ATMs of Wincor Nixdorf will be shipped to East Europe/Middle Asia region. Before this successful deal bank has up to 170 ATMs installation base of several vendors. With this contract TuranAlem will increase in ATMs installation base at least four times in favor of Wincor Nixdorf. Bank TuranAlem is one of the fastest growing full financial service companies in Kazakhstan and is expanding its operations to neighbouring countries. As at 30 September 2004, the Bank had 22 regional branches and 185 retail units throughout Kazakhstan and a representative office in each of Moscow, Russia; Kiev, Ukraine; Minsk, Belarus; Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic and Shanghai; China.
