Telecommunication and computer technologies exhibition

On June 3-6 days in Alma Ata (Kazakhstan) starts international telecommunication and computer technologies exhibition of central Asia “KITEL 2003“. In this year –anniversary, it is 10th exhibition. The exhibition takes place at a crucial time for the Kazakhstan telecom and high-tech sector. Major decision makers will gather to discuss, demonstrate, and act upon, the latest developments within the industry, with particular focuses upon the demonopolisation and liberalisation of the Kazakhstan telecom sector and rehabilitation of the existing telecom generation and transmission facilities. Already in its 10th years, KITEL 2003 is the major event for telecom and computers not just in Kazakhstan but also for the whole central Asian and Caspian region. KITEL 2003 will feature special events such as Software Showcase; Expo Electronics Kazakhstan and for the first ever time will present Malaysian National Stand of Malaysian telecom and computer and its peripherals producers under the support of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation. There will be also National Stands of Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan. Lithuanian information and banking technologies companies group „Penki Kontinentai“ is owner of Kazakhstan company „Penki kontinentai Baku“. This is why agents from Lithuania each year are visiting exhibition „KITEL“ (photos of year 2002), interesting in computer innovations, shearing experience with partners and customers of this region. One of the biggest partners in Kazakhstan – „IBS group“. In this year “IBS group” is presenting Wincor Nixdorf ATM and ATM’s solutions.
