The Penki Kontinentai Group Recognizes Liberty Bank as a Leader in Digital Innovation in the EMEA Region

JSC “Liberty Bank”, one of Georgia’s top commercial banks, has been awarded a prestigious honor by The Penki Kontinentai Group for its leadership in banking innovation. This recognition highlights the bank’s achievements in digital transformation and its focus on advanced technology. 

The Penki Kontinentai Group, along with BS/2 and ASHBURN International, began its partnership with Liberty Bank in 2019. On October 3, 2024, the companies took their collaboration to the next level by signing a Strategic Partnership Agreement.

This new agreement will allow Liberty Bank to enhance self-service device functionality and make services even more secure. 

The bank has already launched 17 innovative services across ATMs and online platforms. They include card-to-card transfers, international remittance support, full integration with Apple Pay and Google Pay, the ability to apply for loans and deposits through ATMs, among others. 

For its commitment to modernization and customer-focused solutions, Liberty Bank received the "Leading Innovator in Banking Functionality Award 2024" from The Penki Kontinentai Group and Diebold Nixdorf. The bank has also been recognized as a leader in banking innovation across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
