Website of Alma Adamkienė's charity and relief fund was launched

Pictures from an official presentation of the web site On September 24 at 11 a.m. in the city e-information centre and internet cafe "Despina" the web site of the charity and relief fund of Alma Adamkienė www.adamkiene-fondas.lt was presented. The web site was created by Penki kontinentai, UAB and designed by the creational group of Lietaus dizainas, UAB. A. Adamkienė, the founder of the Fund, A. Zuokienė and other respectable guests as well as the representatives of Penki kontinentai and supporters of the fund participated at the presentation. "Information technologies are going forward promptly. Modern organisations present themselves on the web. We want to be visible and evident, too, because a web site is not only an opportunity to tell about one's activities, goals and projects, but also likelihood that those who approve our activity will join the implementation of the Fund goals. I am glad that everybody will be able to get to know about the achievements and future plans of the Fund", - Alma Adamkienė said. The General Director of Penki kontinentai, UAB Idrak Dadashov is glad about the beginning of implementation of e-school project together with the fund of A. Adamkienė. The project covers not only the schools of the capital but also rural schools, which especially need to be supported. "A future person is to be educated today", - said he. The main objective of Alma Adamkienė's fund is to support Lithuanian rural schools as well as the pupils, who are studying there and the inmates of a Children's home. During the years 1999 -2003 the fund supported 35 rural schools. Presentation of the web site was photographed with the mobile phone. The possibility to present the photos of the web site in a few minutes was demonstrated.
