Wincor World 2011 show is over

Published: 20 March 2011 y., Sunday

The traditional Wincor World 2011 exhibition, which is a show for the banking and retail trading sector, took place at the end of January in Paderborn (Germany). Wincor World 2011 sponsors were Microsoft, Motorola, Intel and about 30 more international companies. BS/2 Company, which belongs to the Penki kontinentai group, has been a golden partner of Wincor Nixdorf for more than 10 years, took part in the show as Golden partners.

Barely one year after the presentation of the conceptual CINEO line of self-service equipment, the hosts of the show presented visitors with an already operational solution with smart cassettes for all models of ATMs and a programmable cash flow management solution. At the opening ceremony of the show, the Chairman of Wincor Nixdorf, Eckard Heidloff, greeted visitors and expressed his appreciation for their interest in his company’s solutions. He emphasised that the provision of consulting services for a bank branch or a shopping centre starts with an analysis of business processes and the IT sector and finishes with management of the branch or the retail network.

BS/2 Company used the latest information presentation methods at the show for visualisation of business processes and products. Thus visitors to Wincor World 2011 were able to get an accurate image of the software and service programming solutions that they were being demonstrated.

The CEO of the Penki kontinentai group, Idrakas Dadasovas, said that each visit to Wincor World is like a report on jobs done during the year. The intense work that has been done in the months before the show is the proof of tangible and specific client interest.

The wider practical side of the Wincor World 2011 programme included presentations and seminars by authoritative international companies. Among these was a speech by Wincor Nixdorf’s Executive Vice-President of the Banking Division, Stefan Auerbach, about “Cash turnover management solutions: the key to a secure future”. Wincor Nixdorf Vice-President, Jens Bohlen, gave a presentation on “Cash turnover management solutions: how to make the processes more transparent”, while ATMIA Executive Manager for Europe, Flora Hamilton, talked about “A global look at innovations in ATM networks”.

BS/2 Company was represented at the show by a large delegation made up of the heads of all its subsidiary companies. This presented an opportunity for discussing the work of the past year with business partners and customers and coordinating future plans.

“In 2010, despite the continuing economic crisis, we managed to maintain a leading position in all regions. We continued providing services and we expanded them, diligently monitoring how clients’ business processes were changing”, – commented Idrakas Dadasovas.

The members of the international community who took part in Wincor World 2011 fully understand that even large companies and banks have felt the effects of the economic crisis and that solutions based on innovative technology, which guarantee effectiveness, transparency and security, are going to play an important role in the market’s recovery process. At their regular meetings during the Wincor World 2011 show, the Wincor Nixdorf management – Senior Vice President Eckard Heidloff, Vice-President Stefan Auerbach and CEO of the Penki kontinentai, Idrakas Dadasovas – discussed the past year’s basic indicators. One of the main topics of the meeting was collaboration plans for 2011–2012: An agreement was reached concerning joint conferences and functions aimed at further strengthening market leadership positions. As a follow-up and to further deepen this dialogue, in mid-March some representatives of the global Wincor Nixdorf Company, a long term partner of Penki kontinentai group, visited the Lithuanian company. Among the delegates were Director Sales EEMEA Isabel Nitz and the Regional Sales Manager Eastern Europe & Central Asia Anna Pankraz.

Next year BS/2 will pay particular attention to the analysis of the challenges its customers are facing and will offer new solutions and products of more convenient and accessible form, such as remote technical and business monitoring of banking software functioning, including the use of modern mobile devices such as iPad and iPhone. Company employee efforts will be directed not only at strengthening regional influence but also at supplying quality service packages aimed at reducing losses and optimising business processes, since without this it is impossible to achieve a timely return on investment.

Idrakas Dadasovas continued: “We value our 16 years of cooperation with Wincor Nixdorf, a leading member of the business solutions industry in the field of advanced technological equipment for the finance sector. We appreciate their innovative products, which give us the opportunity to join forces in seeking to achieve correspondingly high results in business”.
