iFin-2013: financial e-services market trends and prospects

On February 5-6 this year, the 13th installment of iFin, an annual international forum dedicated to financial e-services and technology, will be held in Moscow, Russia. Over 40 companies, such as Oracle, SAP, and companies developing banking information systems, will take part in the event, presenting their services, products, and solutions.

This two-day-long event will provide an opportunity to find out more about new advances in the financial e-services and technology market. Presenters and other participants will discuss such topics as online and mobile banking, electronic payments, financial self-service networks, remote banking systems, and many others.

Penki Kontinentai, a Lithuanian IT company, will have been taking part in iFin for a number of years now. The company's specialists will talk with its existing and potential partners and present new mobile applications. This will include such applications as Mobile Banking.iQ, Service Desk Mobile.iQ, Mobile Loyalty.iQ, QR.iQ, and Mobile Data Collector.iQ.

These are universal software products, which can be used in other areas as well as in the banking sector. Mobile Banking.iQ is a secure and universal solution designed for mobile banking, featuring an easy-to-use graphical user interface and allowing you to use electronic signatures. Service Desk Mobile.iQ is a mobile office that helps you manage business processes by allowing you, among other things, to store information about the spare parts in your warehouse, plan routes of your engineers, receive the required technical support services, manage scheduled works, etc. Mobile Loyalty.iQ is a mobile solution that can be integrated with loyalty cards, social networks and that allows you to extend the functionality of your services (shopping carts, viewing the balance, payments via mobile devices). QR.iQ is an electronic money transfer system that can be easily integrated into existing systems. Mobile Data Collector.iQ is an accounting and management system that allows you to collect and process all kinds of data on residential and commercial buildings (for example, data on water, gas, and electricity usage).

According to the iFin-2013 organizers, the forum first and foremost targets banks, insurance companies, investment companies, and other financial institutions that seek to offer their customers state-of-the-art financial e-services systems. Moreover, lately iFin has been attracting not only IT department heads, but also people responsible for the expansion of products and services, customer relationship management, and business strategy.
