What kind of data do the companies dispose about the personal performance, the efficiency of equipment, or the return on investments? How many different kinds of software should be implemented to monitor various indicators of the business activity? Are these data aggregates sufficient to ensure a timely decision making and optimization of business by reducing costs and increasing revenues?

Questions like these occur to the majority of companies’ managers. When seeking for an answer, the companies are forced to install various analytical systems, systems of personnel monitoring and management, to attract professional analysts, and to integrate systems that are not interrelated.

The .iQ system, developed by the Lithuanian company BS/2, creates the environment that provides decision-makers with solid analytical information, predictions, and statistical data. Therefore, this complex facilitates rapid decision-making at the strategic level.

Intellectual .iQ Family Products- what is it and how does it work?

.iQ is a product family for managing business processes. Its application options are very wide. Using agent technology, this software solution collects and processes all the business information required for further processing.

According to Idrak Dadašov, the CEO of Penki Kontinentai Group, to which belongs the company BS/2,  this product provides an environment, which has a certain degree of thinking technique.

“The system allows you to monitor the dynamic of the indicators over time. It provides the information “then and there”, and reveals the overall “picture” of your business. .iQ analyses the data entering the system from any associated device, including technical equipment data that manages financial transactions, as well as analyzes business processes that operate in the company, reduces the retrieval time for required user information to users, which - in turn - is accelerating the decision-making process", said I. Dadašov.

The product family consists of a set of application modules that support a variety of the company’s business processes, and integrate with each other in real time.

“The system’s core consists of two components - assets and users resource management. Each of them performs specific functions: collects a variety of data, allows managing and monitoring all items in the system inventory list, as well as managing the users - the company’s employees”, the head of Penki Kontinentai explained about the system.

.iQ system is  scalable system; it can integrate an unlimited number of modules required in accordance with the business model. Currently, the most popular service developed by BS/2 is the video surveillance module ATMeye.iQ designed to ensure safety, cash flow management module ATM.iQ, module Service Desk.iQ and others.

According to I. Dadašov, our clients often ask about how to combine this system with the systems and applications that are already implemented in the company.

“The system is equipped with comfortable exchange instruments that allow combining information resources, which operate in the company, with the existing .iQ Family Products , and “recording” them in a uniform format that can be scanned and processed. Separate modules are connected to the system core, so the user gets the final summary delivered in the proper layer”, said the director of BS/2.

Management of expenditure items

Many of .iQ Family Products give a possibility of reducing expenses practically. As an example, we will take ATM.iQ module, which is integrated into a bank that manages the ATM network.

The system determines the amount of cash available on each terminal, as well as predicts the likely supply and demand for the next day, month, or the next half of the year. This is the way of disclosing the lowest cash-flow distribution expenditure and reducing operating costs, in particular – collection ones.

“The expenditure of cash collection on ATMs is known for “eating” 30-40 percent of finance intended for equipment maintenance, excluding the losses due to “frozen” money. ATM.iQ is intended to avoid losses of this kind", said I. Dadašov.

Competitive advantage of the product

According to the developers, the .iQ Family Products can be quickly and easily integrated. In comparison with other analogous systems that are present in the market, it also distinguishes by its low price.

Furthermore, it assures a high level of safety.

“Having suspected a fraud, the system recommends suspend the process, or (if it is being operated with an ATM) “swallows the card” and assures the logical observation of the event until it is fully completed. The administrator on duty receives the report from the .iQ data processing center and decides which action to take. At the same time he receives the corresponding recommendations by the system itself,” commented I. Dadašov.

Next to the criminal acts, banks also face acts that are illegally committed by the employees and users of the system themselves. .iQ recourse management allows to precisely allocate the roles of employees and to grant them the right to access only such data and operations which are necessary for their work; in this way the system performs the role of an “intellectual auditor.”

In every business the indicator of SLA (Service Level Agreement) is a continuous rendering of quality services. The integration of .iQ Family Products ensures the control of the quality of these services. Moreover, the system’s means of the audit and control enable not only to observe the company’s internal indicators of the activity, but also under the real time mode to “measure” the quality and profitability of the services that are rendered by subcontractors.

“Our task is to provide the clients with all the instruments that would allow them to track business processes. When using one of .iQ modules, the client can observe the actions of all “players” including business partners and subcontractors that are related to his resources,” mentioned the head of Penki Kontinentai.

“The so-called ideology of “Smart SLA” can be applied everywhere. For example, in the communities of apartment buildings that possess a single administration; such communities are popular in the Baltic and Western European countries,” illustrated I. Dadašov. “One company provides services of satellite television, the other – IPTV, another cleans the stairwell, and etc. The community’s administrator can integrate our system and conveniently track all of the indicators, as well as, timely react to the problems that occurred and with a complete precision identify the causers of the problem,” said the head of the Lithuanian company.

.iQ Family Products is available in 65 countries of the world.
