The agreement on lowest salaries in the education, science and culture should be reached no later than August 18, said Tuesday Dojcin Cvetanovski, leader of Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture (SONK) after the meeting with Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski and ministries' representatives.

Cvetanovski announced that the negotiations with PM Buckovski would continue this week, when a final solution is to be reached.

SONK also demands replacement of the old calculation model according to the workers' qualifications, with the new one, in which the complexity of the working post would serve as a calculation basis.
