Romania Telecom Selects Infinys from Convergys

Convergys Corporation, the global leader in integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services, announced that it has signed a contract to license its Infinys(TM) software to Romania Telecom (ROMTELECOM), a leading Romanian telephony and Internet integrated solutions provider. ROMTELECOM will use the Infinys application for rating and billing, Geneva(TM), to develop attractive bundles of voice and data services in order to enhance performance in an increasingly competitive market. As the prime contractor, Convergys will manage the integration of Infinys into ROMTELECOM's billing environment and direct associated business process re-engineering improvements. ROMTELECOM serves more than 4.3 million customers throughout Romania offering a wide range of advanced communications services, including fixed and mobile telephony, data transmission, and Internet.
