Thousands of have already visited the park, which recreates a labour camp with screams broadcast over hidden speakers.
Almost 30 members of parliament opposed the opening of the park, saying it was in poor taste. But it is expected to stay open.ABC News reports that Stalinworld houses the world's largest collection of Soviet statues.
They were brought to the park in Gruta by owner Viliumas Malinauskas, who has already spent around £690,000 on the project. He calls critics "morons", claiming he "owes it to history" to recreate the horrible world in which 30 million victims of Stalin were killed.
