Families win Omagh bomb civil suit

A High Court judge in Belfast ruled that four men and the outlawed Republican dissident group, the Real IRA were responsible for the 1998 Omagh bombing.

A fifth man was cleared. Bereaved relatives launched the landmark civil action eight years ago after prosecutors failed to convict anyone for the bombing.
