An African eco-village in South Africa's wine region receives funding from a surprising source.
Lynedoch eco village is a small hamlet in the heart of South Africa's Cape Winelands. It's been designed so that people from mixed social backgrounds can come together to live and work in a sustainable community.
The village makes its own power and has a water recycling plant, organic gardens, a primary school and several business units. Funding comes from a local winery, government grants and surprisingly, a cinema in London.
