New Technologies in the World of Exhibitions

This year, on the 2nd of June, in the Café of JSC “Penki kontinetai” company’s ‘Visus Plenus” press conference “The Presentation of the New Technologies in the World of Business” took place. The company that is engaged in the conferences and exhibitions management for already 10 years and that is organizing well known international exhibitions such as INFOBALT, ALT, VIVATTUR, BMT, has presented its updated website>>> .
Exhibitions - the Important Area of Industry
Pertas Napruðis, director of the company, noticed that already now in some countries, in Germany, for instance, exhibition business is of such importance that became one of the most important industrial areas that guarantee quite large and stable incomes not only for the organizers of exhibitions, but for the service organizations, tourism agencies, food and leisure organizations as well. Close partnership with “Infobalt association” the representative of which, Dþiugas Juknys, also took part in the presentation, and the opportunities that modern information technologies provide are those ones because of which the company decided to update its website. In the future it is also planned to pay attention to the organization of various conferences and seminars, so the new website is expected to be very useful for this area, too.
Updated Website - New Ideas and Technologies
Andrius Aliðauskas, the project manager of the “Visus Plenus”, presented the basic technological improvements.An organization together with JSC "Penki Kontinentai" had been modernizing the website for already ten years. The main objective of the updating— to provide all who are interested in the exhibitions that take place in Lithuania and abroad with as much information as possible; to announce the majority of the addresses of the centers of the websites, the addresses of the World exhibitions’ data banks, where it is possible to find the exhibition you are interested in according to the country, area and date. All the information that website contains will always be updated, the news from the exhibition business and everything that is connected with it will be announced there, too. The list of the participants of the exhibitions, statistics, news, comments of press will be available for the organizers of exhibitions. Furthermore, they will be able to provide with and update the information about the participation in one or another exhibition. If electronic signature is legalized, website functions will spread further. “This is the first, but not the last step, -A. Aliðauskas says. -Partnership with “Infobalt” lets us look far in the future, plan and fulfill a lot of new and interesting projects in the world of exhibitions. Natalija Riskind, the manager on the project of electronic commerce the in JSC “Penki kontinentai” during the presentation spoke about integrated internet projects for the “VisusPlenus” among which there are: news service www.news.lt, press system www.press.lt and Lithuanian Business Information Center .The news of these systems that inform about the exhibitions that have taken place recently or will take place in the nearest future are automatically sent to the “Visus Plenus”. Varvara Vasèiuk, the manager on the Internet project in the German language in the JSC “Penki kontinentai” presented the website www.deutschland.lt. Here it is possible to find information not only about those who live in Germany, but also about politics, state bodies, culture, laws and about all the exhibitions that take place in Germany now. The subject of the exhibition is announced: companies that organize the exhibition, address; prices of the ticket; the price of rent of the stand, work hours of an exhibition; foreign participants. The international exhibitions are very important for the business—the businessmen exchange their experience there; fasten contacts, present new projects. Lithuanian organizations while participating in the international exhibitions form the image of Lithuania in the eyes of foreigners.
