The State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, has carried out a post mortem examination on the body of a Lithuanian man who was found dead in Co Monaghan.
Gardaí have now begun a murder inquiry. The man's body was discovered in a house in Clones with stab wounds to the chest.
The 21-year-old was found by gardaí in an upstairs bedroom of a terraced house on Roslea Road shortly after 9am.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
