UKRAINIAN ORTHODOX BELIEVERS TO STAGE ANTIPAPAL RALLY ON 21 JUNE

The Union of Orthodox Fraternities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) is planning to hold a march in Kyiv on 21 June to protest Pope John Paul II's visit to Ukraine, Interfax reported on 18 June.
Union leader Valentyn Lukyanyk said the march is expected to gather from 5,000-10,000 people. He added that following the march the union will decide on protest measures to be taken during the pope's visit, which will begin on 23 June.
