SNORAS Client Team, comprising professional car racers as well as clients of Bank SNORAS and representing Bank SNORAS in the prestigious Omnitel 1000 km circular car race, won the competition. The crew competing in the car, marked with the starting number 10, which was the first to cross the finish line, drove 334 laps of Palanga track in 9 hr and 20 min.

“Just as it was forecast, this year the struggle in the car race of GT class was especially gruelling. In spite of that, during the race our team showed excellent preparation for it and the car No.10 assuredly won the competition. It is a pity that minor technical problems hindered the car No.20, which was driving in the 2nd position for a long time, from winning the podium position. I greatly rejoice over the car racers' and the entire crew's excellent team work, which is one of the most important ones in this sport,” states Philipp Zlatkovsky, the leader of the team.

The team, representing Bank SNORAS in Omnitel 1000 km race, competed in Ferrari F430 Challenge cars. The crew that won the race comprised Jonas Gelžinis, Alexei Vasiliev and Ilia Burenko; the car No.20, which took the 5th place in the general record, was piloted by Stasys Brundza and the Ukrainians Dmytro Rybak and Oleksander Belyaev.

The crews of the team representing Bank SNORAS in GT class took the 1st and 2nd places.

The team representing Bank SNORAS has already won Omnitel 1000 km race two years in a row. In 2008 the winner of the race was the professional SNORAS Spyker Squadron team, which was also represented by Jonas Gelžinis and Alexei Vasiliev - the champions of this year.
