Russia ranked ninth position among the CIS countries

Russia ranked ninth position among the CIS countries by the rate of industrial production growth in January-May 2005 with the showing of 3.6 percent.

In Kirghizstan the industrial production fell 8.1 percent. In Moldova the growth was 3.8 percent, in Armenia - 4.5 percent, in Ukraine - 6.2 percent.

In January-May Azerbaiijan led by the rate of industrial production growth (19.4 percent), Georgia ranked second position (10.9 percent), Byelorussia (10.6 percent), Tajikistan (7.9 percent) and Kazakhstan (7.2 percent).
