Hamas militants dead after Gaza clashes

Six Hamas militants are dead after clashes with Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip -- the first armed clashes in the region since a ceasefire was called in June.

 

An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed the raid and said missiles were aimed at militants who had fired mortar bombs at Israeli forces.
