As the number of e-banking users rapidly increases, Bank SNORAS improves this service
Since 28 April this year, the clients of AB Bank SNORAS will be able to process their financial matters in a clearer and more user-friendly environment of “Internet Bank+” system. Bank SNORAS has been improving the design of this service taking into consideration the fast growth of its users - within the past 12 months the number of e-banking users has increased by more than one-third (37 per cent).
“Being the pioneers of electronic banking in Lithuania, we endeavour to form the most attractive e-banking service base for Bank SNORAS customers so that by using it they will be able to manage their financial matters promptly and without considerable efforts. The ever-growing number of users of e-banking services confirms that our decisions meet the clients' expectations,” states Valdas Monkus, the Vice President of AB Bank SNORAS, the deputy head of administration for information technologies.
According to V. Monkus, during the past twelve months, an especially fast growth was noticed in the number of the private clients of Bank SNORAS who use “Internet Bank+” service; on 1 April this year this number was by 35 per cent larger than in the same period last year. The change (16 per cent) in the companies using the e-banking service of Bank SNORAS corresponds to the growth in the number of corporate clients of the bank. In the mean time during the first quarter this year the number of the residents, who started to use the e-banking system of Bank SNORAS, grew by 8 per cent, while the number of the corporate clients who acquired this service increased by 3 per cent.
The most important advantages of the new design of Bank SNORAS e-banking is convenience and user-friendly environment. More comfortable website navigation will help a customer to orientate faster because from now on the main menu of the page is displayed horizontally and the functions of the secondary menu are set up vertically. Grouping of the menu items was changed on the basis of the standard sequence of the service usage and because of this from now on it will be much easier for a user to find a desirable service in the e-banking system.
“Internet Bank+” system of Bank SNORAS from this moment is more informative - all latest information relevant to Bank SNORAS customers is presented on the main e-banking website. The system informativeness is also influenced by its more dynamic and colourful design.
Bank SNORAS, being the first to start providing the e-banking service in the country in year 2000, constantly implements the latest technologies facilitating the service provision to the bank clients. During the first six months this year, Bank SNORAS will invest over LTL 7 million in modernizing the ATM network. Presently Bank SNORAS also implements ATMiQ programme, optimizing the operation of cash machines, which assists in effectively regulating the money amounts in ATMs. Thanks to the new technologies, Bank SNORAS clients will be able to perform cash operations more safely and conveniently.
