Suspected pirates attack navy ship

Eleven suspected pirates apparently mistook a French naval ship for a commercial vessel and, according to the French Defence Ministry, prepared for attack.

French commandos moved in on three tiny boats in the Indian Ocean, 1000 kilometres off the Somali coast.
