In 2002 Moldavian Budgeted Deficit to Amount to 320m Leus
On Thursday the collegium of the Moldavian Finance Ministry approved of the draft budget-2002 and it was submitted to the Government on Wednesday. Finance Minister Mikhail Manole informed that in 2002 the consolidated budget revenues were foreseen to the sum of 5,192bn leus; expenditure 5,512bn leus with the deficit of 320m roubles. The state budget revenues are to make up 3,822bn leus and 4,142m leus with the deficit of 320m leus. Manole informed that the draft budget was based on the three main showings of the gross domestic product to the sum of 22.4bn leus, inflation of around 10% and the rate of 14.5 leus per USD. The draft budget consists of 6 sections and 25 enclosures. The Government within a month will consider it, in order to submit it to the parliament by the beginning of October. This year the draft budget will be submitted together with the law on changes and additions to the tax code and the draft, stipulating reimbursement of the incomes, missed by commercial banks while crediting the construction of the corporate accommodation, informed Manole.
