10-year eurobonds

Lithuania issued 400 million euros worth of 10-year eurobonds on international markets Thursday, the finance ministry reported. Yield to redemption was 4.65% taking into account coupon yield and placement price. BNP Paribas and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein placed the bonds. Coupon yield is 4.5%. The bonds mature on March 5 2013. In the first phase of placement, demand doubled supply: potential investors made bids totaling 800 million euros. Investors from Germany and Austria bought 45% of the issue. The money raised will be used to buy earlier issued bonds and to finance the budget deficit.
