A final proposal

Swedish airline company SAS Group said it will cut costs by 25 to 40 percent because of tough competition and an economic downturn. SAS said it has not finalized any plans to make the cuts, but will present a final proposal to the board next month. The Associated Press reports the company announced Monday that its passenger traffic fell more than nine percent during February. SAS includes Scandinavian Airlines, Spanair, Braathens, Wideroe and Air Botna.
