A final approval
Board of directors of Williams company (USA) Thursday gave a final approval to its investment project in Lithuania. This decision was made after the subsidiary company Williams International approved the project a week ago. Williams Lietuva Director General Randy Majors said the Williams Board expressed a clear approval to the conditions agreed with the Lithuanian government last April on the right of Williams to acquire extra 33 percent stake during seven years after signing the agreement on the investment. This right should be confirmed by Lithuanian parliament Seimas. Williams with its headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an energy and telecommunication enterprise. Its assets are estimated reaching about $22 billion , it employs 20,000 people in the USA, South America and Australia.
