A free trade agreement

Parliament ratified Thursday a free trade agreement between Bulgaria and Albania which the two countries signed on March 26. Under the document, 83 per cent of trade in industrial goods between the two countries will be liberalized upon the agreement's entry into force, while the remainder will be liberalized following a transition period till January 1, 2007. The agreement envisages zero custom rates for certain quotas of agricultural goods, BTA reports, quoted by SEEurope.net.
